Re: CQ Door Handle Sticks
I have no idea but both of my outside handles are getting very
difficult to open lately. I think I may have to adjust the striker.
BTW, I forgot to mention I saw a 90 Coupe Q in an autocross in Augusta
last weekend. The guy really abused it. I didn't have the time to
wait for the results but he was fast and stayed inside the course. He
told me this was his daily driver. It had 93k mi. and looked pretty
beat. I heard the engine running after his run and it sounded like it
had no oil in the crankcase. Nice guy though. He also runs a
modified early 70s 911.

Hey experts, I'm having another of those damnedest problems, to wit: When
the outside air temp is *HOT*, like over 90 deg., my driver's outside
door handle refuses to open the door. Passenger's side works fine, albeit
embarrassing (Audi Gods revenge for lack of recent tithe?), and when it's
cool out, driver's side works fine. Also, if I open it from the inside
once, about 50% of the time I can open it from the outside. Kind of sucks
going for lunch, not being able to get in to go, and not being sure if
it'll work to return to work. Now for the foolish question: any ideas?
