This is why I keep the ground terminal on my battery just loose enough to be
removed by hand with a twist-and-a-tug, and don't use the screws to hold the
rear seat cushion in place.  This also made for an inexpensive but effective
anti-theft device when I had to park the car in a bad neighborhood ... until
I bought a car that's new enough to come with one of their POS Delta radios,
which tend to freeze up whenever the power is interupted for more than a few
mintues.
