You are probably talking about the Boge OEM line. The *are* stock
VW and Audi parts. The OEM shocks are mediocre at best.

Boge makes two great lines of shocks: the Pro Gas and the Turbo Gas.
I highly recommend them; I've used the TGs before, and wish I had
a set now.
