Wagon Alt Pulley

What!

I've been chasing what could be described as an alternator
that tried but just can't keep up when the car is at idle with A/C
on and the fan blower blasting away.  It shows 11-12 volts on the
guage.  Even with the battery from my V8 sitting on the back seat
floor.  (Boy that thing is huge..... woudn't fit under the seat in the
wagon, about 3 inches too long)  Today we go to Andy's to get both
battery and Alt checked.  

Glen,  Did you ask the dealer to 'fess up and install the smaller
pulley ?
