A4q CD changer

Based on excellent advice that I received from fellow list members
in the Netherlands and the US, I decided to get the Audi CD changer.
I could not get any firm date on availability of an adapter for any
other brand, from any of the sources mentioned on this list, or
locally.

The list price for the Audi changer is $595 plus $25 for the bracket.
When I mentioned that thie changer was available for $550 by mail order,
one of the local dealers agreed to match this price, including the
bracket.  I am pretty sure that dealer cost for the changer plus
bracket is very close to $500 total.  I am happy to pay sales tax
in California since as a University of California employee, this is
what pays (part of) my salary,

I picked up the changer and bracket today, but there are no installation
instructions in the box.  The parts counter person said that the dealer
subcontracts installation, so he didn't have any diagrams or instructions
to make a copy of.

So I would be very grateful if anyone who has done this job could
send me instructions, and/or any special issues to be aware of.
