Still with tongue unforked, I would have to agree wholeheartedly.  The 
seconds get geometrically more expensive the faster you get.  However, I 
think that you have a very small misunderstanding of the original post, 
Unka Bart.  I believe that the author was claiming 0 - 60mph in 5.3 
seconds, and 0 - 100mph in 12.2 seconds.  I didn't interpret that as a 
quarter mile time.
