Well.... Considering that the part is availble from places like Imparts 
for $45 or so I think that I might skip this one and go direct.....

Thanks for the reply, but is it a worthwhile mod to make? What exactly does
it do, and what are the downsides, if any? Any comment on the K&N cone over
flat filter, especially since the intake air around the cone is adjacent to
turbo and exhaust manifold?
