Continuing Saga of TQC that won't start
Folks,
ZI'm back after a three week hiatus. Home to the elderly father and them
the family vacation. Now I'm back to tracing wires and votages to wee why
my 83 TQC won't start.
Thanks to all who have commented and made my trouble shooting easier.
I've had the benefit of a q lister who volunteered his 83 TQC to check
the brain box, "..started right up." Now I back to the wires senders etc.
Today, I decided to check on voltage drop across the leads to the brain
box. AHA! When cranking starter I get a drop to 8.2 volts. Can this be
the culprit? Numerous comments have been psoted regarding the ignition
switch. Can someone come back on this with a comment regarding minimum
voltage to the brain box?
Again, thanks
