Back in the 80's when turbos were in their heyday Callaway made turbo kits for 
almost all cars including the 4kq.  The kit sounds like a good idea but 
probably not as good as switching to the 5k's turbo motor which would probably 
have more long term potential.  I dont think that the kits are still available 
but I dont know.

Did Callaway Cars put on this turbo?  How did you arrive at this 
configuration?
