We all have had trouble staying awake while driving at one time or another, but actually falling asleep behind the wheel is something else again.....failing to recognise this and stopping/resting/switching drivers is IMFO poor judgement. Fighting sleep sux!

I understand the no flame....... no....it's about 10 minutes before
Lebanon.....he tried to get his Bro to wake up to swap and was looking
for the next exit to get off......they are not keen about stopping on the
edges of highways.....since trailer trucks have a magnatism to cars
stopped there......(Re: several like accidents.....)......so he knew he
was tired.....he admits that if he had taken the cruise off.....and
actually driven the car......but that's experience.....he was just 17 at
the time....think of how most 17 year old kids drive.......they wouldn't
have made it.....I'm not defending the tired part....just wishing that
the gov't would listen when people ask for what they need to make our
highways safer......
