I don't recall seeing one for sale at $14k but I have seen a few others for
a LOT less ... the last I recall was an '85 5kt at $5,500 and a 4kq at $6k,
but I don't know if either of them sold.  I did look at the 4kq but decided
that while it looked nice from some angles, I'd eventually grow tired of it
and chose to pass on it.  The fact that the Treser wheels were very scruffy
looking and used NLA Michelin TRX tires didn't help since this will diminsh
it's -- ahem -- collector's value in the long run.

There certainly does seem to be a lot of these cars around town ... I guess
the fact that Scottsdale Porsche-Audi was one of the two importers for them
probably accounts for this.  I usually see at least one of them every month
and I know of a body shop that has a new 3-piece rear spoiler available for
$250-300 or so.  If anyone's interested, contact me for the name and number.
