RE: Blinking LED

This is from my 80/90 shop manual; they say if the outside temp LED blinks
for about 1 minute after turning the ignition to "ON", check the following:

a) one or both inside temperature sensors are sending false info
b) Feedback potentiometer on the temperature regulating flap is
supplying incorrect values or the adjustment motor is not properly
    adjusted
c) A/C high pressure switch has switched the compressor off eight
times in the last driving period (this fault can be erased by depressing
the "OFF" button or cycling the ignition switch)

Beyond this, there are several pages of channel checks to be made to
better pinpoint location; all are in the shop manual.

Subject: Blinking LED

Hey qlisters

Observed something today & I'm not sure what to make of it. I have an 89
200Q. Today (twice) when I started the car, the outside temp. LED on the
climate control unit started blinking about once every 1.5 to 2 seconds. It
stops after about 5 minutes. Is this significant? Does anybody know what
this means?

Thanks

Fletch
