Hi Dan,

Thanks for the great info on dismantling the interior. Very clear and to
the point. Shame you had to find things out the hard way, I really hate it
myself when I sit in my car looking at broken things... and mine's 8 years
old!

It seems that Audi is not in the habit of reinventing the wheel everytime a
new model comes out, door panel removal is as near as dammit to the process
in my 80. And removing the rear seat sounds suspiciously like what I did in
my old '80 Jetta.

Hope you find replacements for the broken parts real soon- and cheap. At
least you know you've written another great addition to the archives!

PS To anyone wondering why I wrote earlier about retrieving missing
digests, yes, I *did* try ftp'ing them but I can't get to the server, and
the 'get command' yielded nothing but garbage and error messages. I'm no
listserv commands expert, and I figured this is the easy way out.
