S6 plus Avant specs

Hi Audians,

Thought I'd share this with you: while leafing through the German magazine
AutoBild I found a small test of the S6 plus Avant. For anyone interested
I've copied the specs (salivate, salivate)

V8, Quad OHC, 4 valves/cilinder, 4172cc. 326bhp @ 6500rpm, 400Nm @ 3500rpm
6-speed manual trans, quattro, ventilated disc brakes, ABS, tyres 255/40
R17, trunk (boot) 390/310 litres, tank 80 litres, weight 1780kg.
0-60mph: 6,1sec, top speed 250km/h (156mph)

Std equipment 2 airbags, alloy wheels, alarm system, height adjustable
sports seats, 4 electric windows, steering wheel adjustable for height and
rake, Xenon headlights, central locking
optional: A/C (+DM3600), servotronic (+DM495), leather seats (+DM1500).

It says the S6 is built in the Quattro GmbH, a small department of Audi AG
with about 50 people, sort of like the M-department at BMW. The S6 pictured
is in a groovy blue colour, although I'm not too sure about the blue
instrument faces. The tester thought the supsension was too hard, but was
very impressed by the engine (high performance but very docile). It can
also be had as a sedan. The article ends with 'a wagon with a Porsche
feeling, but alas also a Porsche price.' The pictures show the badge (S6
Plus in red/blue/white) the front and the rear of the car (two exhausts).

German price: DM120,500, equals about $82,850

Guess I'll never be able to afford one of these...:-(
