Where did you ever get the idea I wasn't willing to help solve the problems
that I (and others!) have been constructively criticizing over the past few
months?

I hear you but there's still the matter of accounting for what happened in
the past and that's something they're not yet willing to do. Just because
someone who commits a crime says they're sorry doesn't mean they shouldn't
still go to jail ... I, for one, would very much like to review the club's
books and records in order to figure out what it's really been doing these
past two years. There is no point in renovating a house if the foundation
is rotten!

Kudos to you and your region ... but this is totally beside the point about
changing how the NATIONAL organization goes about its business.

There IS a difference between complaining and constructive criticism ... in
my case, I view my actions as the former and not the latter. Trying to get
a region going here in Arizona would be very difficult since very few Audis
around here are quattros ... most people think of them as cars for those in
snow country and not the desert, and their rarity here reflects this.
That said, I AM thinking about running for a seat on the board ... this way,
I should be able to satisfy MY concerns about QCUSA's past while helping to
further OUR mutual goals for its future!
Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with me.
