Let's not forget price here. Those of us who regularly beef about Audi
prices should enquire about Porsche spares. The Porsche V8 is(was) priced at
the exotic level due to its trivial production volume and high degree of
unique components. Adding Audi's very modest volume wouldn't likely have
made it much less expensive.
