I'd go with stock. AUDI STOCK.

My improvement on my old 4000Q when I put new
stock parts in was incredible.

I've heard that both urethane and other hard
compounds have a life of 20-30k miles too - no
way in my book.

Furthermore, i had one friend put generic (non-OEM)
rubber bushings in his 4000Q.  They were toast inside a year;
what crap.  I hate to say it, but the quattro-ring place
is the place to get your bushings (actually, Linda and Mike
are a better bet).
