Re: bushings?



My recommendation would be to use spherical bearings if your 
going to race that car and the rules permit it or use the old
style rubber bushing 811 407 181. The new ones 857 407 181
just don't work very well.
If you asked the german Audi tuners like Seikel Motorsport ,
Hohenester Motorsport or SMS , they all recommend the old
style bushing if you can't use spherical bearings.
I'm involved in racing for quite some time now and nobody
in Germany uses urethane or delrin or any other plastic
bushings.
BTW , the very last car Walter Roehrl drove was a Audi 90
Quattro used as a course car at the German Rallye Championship.
Guess what kind of bushings were used in that car?
Yes the old style rubber bushings. I know because I bought parts
of that car.
