RE: Bushings

I know I'm a little late on this one, but I only remembered this yesterday.
I seem to remember hearing that racers in classes which restrict bushings
would set OE bushings out in the sun for a while (?).  Apparently, the sun
(ozone? elements? plain old O2?) serves to prematurely age and harden the
rubber bushings, making them more responsive while keeping legal.

Not sure if this really works, but if it doesn't affect the life of the
bushings too much and tightens things up it might be worth a try.

Any info on this from the racer set?  Tricia?  Eric?

I'd like to know if the story is true myself and what the details are.
