That would be ozone cracking. It affects most unprotected rubber and causes
the cracking that owners of British Dunlop motorcycle tires are so familiar
with. UV isn't usually a problem underneath the car where most bushings
live.
However, it's always a good idea not to leave your rubber out in the sun.
