Octane level

I use the 91/92 octane level for the most part in my A4q.  I've got 12k   
miles on it, so it is well worked in.  But, living in NJ allows me to   
take advantage of the lower gas prices.  I did use 89 early in the   
summer, but notice some knocking during hard acceleration, especially on   
hills on the highway.  My milage is a consistant 26/27 mpg.  I can get as   
much as 360 miles to a tank, since I am usually on highways for the 55   
mile commute.
