Wheels for sale - Mg or Al?

4 stock 14x6 alloys off '88 5k, straight, true, no dings;good extra wheels for
snows/track/autox etc. 4x108 bolt circle and 45mm offset (fits 4k/coupe also, 
I believe), includes center caps with Audi rings, Yoko tires included if local
only (Central NJ/Eastern PA), shipping not included from Easton, PA; make me

Question: "Mg" is inscribed on the inside - are these magnesium or alum?   I 
don't remember the Periodic Table but mag wheels should be lighter than alum, 
right?  Does anyone know what the stock wheel weighs (I still have tires 
mounted on them).  My new 15" wheels weigh in at 17lbs.
