UrQ ... should I sell it?
I thought I'd post this . I figure I'll either get motivated by the group's
moral support and get back to work on it or maybe find a potential buyer. If
I keep it, it will have to be my winter car, I feel bad about using a rare
car in the winter, even if it is 4WD. On the other hand if I sell it, I'll
have to get something else for winter use.
1983 Blue UrQ located in NH.
In pretty good condition all in all.
The good Part:
"only" 120k miles
15x8 Ronal wheels
Brown Leather
Sunroof
AC
CD changer
D40-M2's
new stainless exhaust (no kitty)
no significant rust or dents
New window lifts
Lowered ABT springs.
New Boge shocks
Rolled fenders
Already had the 110k mile valve job
Milled exhaust manifold, new studs.
Turbo is good.
Doesn't use oil (except for a few little leaks)
Spare 15x6 wheels (for this winter?)
Euro headlights
The Bad Part:
needs transmission/engine mounts
clear coat failed on the roof so needs paint.
I haven't installed the new window lifts yet.
AC needs recharge (already put in the new condenser.)
If I keep it I'll put the tall springs back in.
(need the road clearance around here)
Clutch master cylinder leaks.
Leather seat is ripped.
No performance upgrades(maybe this should go under "good")
CD changer and amp uses up most of the trunk.
Runs well, but it's not quite where I think it should be.
It's my newest car.
Typing this out has helped, but I'll be curious to see how the group
responds.
