For those that may contemplate a head gasket replacement or engine rebuild
in the future, Raceware's Head stud kit is 169.95 plus 8.50  fer 3 day
shipping (IUD). 

When I discussed exhaust manifold bolts/studs with them, they said that they
believed Audi had come out with a stonger stud. Anyone know anything about
this? Have a part number? Are the 91 split manifold studs the same as the 10V?

Hooray to Linda @ Carlson who finally got me the correct after run cooling
thermoswitch (054 919 369B) for a mere $10.90 after the dealer quoted me
37.00, Blau quoted 34.00 (and sent me the wrong part twice. Her price was
29.00 initially.  Also picked up the lower temp injector cooling
thermoswitch for 19.00 so I'll have something else to run my battery down.

I can start planning the head gasket job after the computer comes back from
Scott M. with a 1.94 bar cutoff installed. Have you got it yet???
