Phil, I have done these conversions in the US on 3 models, a 4K, 5K and pre A6
100.

All I can say is that you have to do it. The fact that every single memeber of
the list has not, convinces me that they feed these yanks carrots or something
with their milk because our Audi standard pre 1994 lights in the US are the
worst I have seen outside of the Eastern European vehicles and China of course.

Also do yourself a favor and fit relays for each of the brights and low beams,
ie: 4 of them. Then upgrade to 130W H4s and you have real light.
