80Q performance mods - newbie questions

     Audi gurus:

I took the Quattro for a blast up in the mountains this weekend.
While driving *anything* at 10,000+ft is sluggish at best, I am
now wondering at what could be done to an 80Q so it's a bit
     better? (Yeah, I know.. buy a TQ :\ )

     Keep in mind my objectives:
     1. Staying within the parameters of "stock" - ie no addition of
nitrous or turbos or engine swaps.
     2. Emissions legal - Gotta pass Colorado Vehicle Emissions
tests.
     3. Stealth mods - not obvious until the "loud" pedal is pressed.

I'm not looking for a lot of Hp, 10 or 20 more would be nice.

     What I have in mind:
     1. A chip - who makes one?
     2. K&N air filter or conical K&N
     3. 2.5 (3?) inch after-cat exhaust
     4. some sort of cold-air induction

I already have plans to upgrade to a set of Konis or Bilsteins,
and better tires/wheels. Suspension tuning is not a problem.

Please lemme-know via email, as I don't have access to the
     archives with my mailer.

     TIA,

     /Jeff "thin air sucks"
     '88 80Q - box stock... for now.

PS - Is there any difference (performance-wise) between the 80Q
     and the 90Q?
