Re: UrQ low-temp idiot light sensor

Unfortunately there are way too MANY temperature sensors in the UrQ engine.
Two basic temperature switches are 1) for the overheat >125 degree C. near
the front of the cylinder head (current track 144), [that's your on/off

The one near the "front" of the engine is the ECU's temp sensor (mounted
near/below the coolant outlet, and above the oil pressure switch). That's
current track 29.

switch] and 2) the cold engine sensor in the back of the engine (current
track 29) [that's your variable resistor i.e. the blue light]. There's

That's current track 144, with 143 claiming to be the overtemp warning
(for the "1984" model year Bentley). The actual overtemp warning is the
one sandwiched into the coolant "expansion/overflow" return line, and
not shown in the Bentley at all. This one also engages the high-speed
radiator fan relay.
