Chris,

I had the TB mod done around October 1995 on my '95 A6 quattro.  My 
dealer, Lujack Luxury, Davenport, Iowa, had no problems with it.  I 
certainly didn't have to sign anything.  But, my understanding is that if 
some problem is found that's traceable to the TB, they can refuse to fix 
(read pay to fix) it.  Question is, will they?  I think it would be 
pretty hard to trace ANYTHING back to the TB mod.  Anyway, have had it in 
for about a year now, no problems.  Just sounds like the dealer is doing 
a CYA move, can't blame them I guess.
