RE: 5k CSTQ interior

Thanks for mental and emotional support.
I was able to get rid of the
buckle/seat noise using a leather softening agent sold here by Wilsons
leather company.
I had squeaks from the right corner of dash/windshield. I
re-allined the dash, so it is dead in the center and installed some foam
in the gap. That seemed to cure it.
I've always had squeaks coming out of the center console. I installed a
steel brace inside of it and ancored the console to it with extra couple
of screws. Still, driving over an average road out here produces rattles
in the center consule.
Interesting that while cornering hard or taking cloverleaf at 50+ MPH on
a smooth pavement, no squeaks are heard. So I'm wondering whether it
is related to structural rigitity of the body, which appears to be quite
good,
or is just the fact that a rough road and relatively stiff suspension
produces jiggling in not-so-rigid interior trim peices??
I drove an 86 5000S without leather - no squeaks there.

Thanks for you response though.
