a question...
Hi.
I know this is an Audi mailing list, but I still decided to tap the fountain
of knowledge on this list for a Toyota.
I have an 87 Toyota Tercel (2dr). When I come to a halt at a signal, the
rpm's fall and the engine almost dies, almost not quite. If I were to
accelerate suddenly at this point, the engine most certainly dies out.
However if I were to accelerate very slowly, I can get the car moving again.
Someone suggested draining/cleaning the fuel tank. someone else suggested
replacing the timing belt. yet someone else suggested replacing the
Electronic Bleed Control Valve, whatever that maybe (someone care to
enlighten me ? ) Does anybody have any suggestions ?
thanx
