Seeking sponsors for BMW Miracle Ride

Please excuse the netabuse. It's for a good cause and I *am* the
list owner :)

On Sunday, September 22, BMW will be hosting a "Miracle Ride"
which takes participants from Mamaroneck NY to BMWNA headquarters
in NJ. The purpose of the Miracle Ride is to raise donations,
and as such, I am seeking sponsors. All proceeds benefit
the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.
Their mission statement (from the brochure) follows:

"Our mission is to find a cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative
colitis, which affect 2 million Americans. Tens of thousands of
children suffer from these chronic and devastating digestive diseases
and it's time we found the miracle cure to improve the quality of
their lives."

Those who would like more information about this foundation may
contact them directly at the following address:

Crohn's & Colitis Foundation
34 W.Putnam Avenue
Greenwich, CT 06830-5341
Phone: 203-629-5353

The Foundation is a non-profit organization, and as such, your
donations *may* be tax-deductible (check with your accountant
to be sure though).

If you would like to sponsor me on this ride, by making a contribution,
please make your checks payable to:

Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (or CCFA)

Since the ride is 9/22, I need to have all checks in my possession
by Friday 9/20. Again, though the checks are made payable to
CCFA, I need to hand them in at the start of the ride, so
make sure you send them to me here in Elmsford.

I should also mention that there are some prizes that will be
raffled off, including a BMW motorcycle (in the remote event that
I win...) But my motives for participating in the ride are
simply to help a good cause and enjoy a nice ride before ski season
starts!

Thanks in advance.
