5kCSTQ Radiator & Duty Cycle

Two questions for you gurus:

1)  How do you remove the fan and radiator in a 5kCSTQ?  It
looks like I'll have to disconnect all the coolant hoses, loosen the
hydraulic pump, and swing the pump up and out of the way to
have enough room.  Is there some other secret?

2)  How do you measure the frequency valve duty cycle with a
digital multimeter?  My old dwell meter (for points) pegs out
when I try it, and I don't have an oscilloscope.
