European delivery (Was Volvo deal)

     Many manufacturers have such programs. Often you don't have to 
     deal with an intermediary if you're willing to do a little work 
     yourself.
     
     BMW. Mercedes, Porsche, VW, (Audi?) have similar programs where 
     the buyer arranges to take delivery of a NA Spec car in Europe; 
     Contact your appropriate manufacturer.
     
     Basically a buyer picks up their car from the factory and drives

     it around (gotta try out the Autobahn), making it a used car. 
     Then at the end of their vacation, they import the car 
     themselves. You save $$$ by doing the paperwork yourself and not

     having to go through a broker or the dealership network.
     
     Still, for $495 it may be worth the hassle.
