No Audi content, but interesting ovloV deal

As a former Saab owner and now Nissan/Audi I would have agreed a few years
ago. But, since Volvo launched their 850 series and especially the Turbo
and the "R" model, you'll get a lot of (good quality) car for the money and
they are lightning fast. An 850 R is almost as quick as my Nissan 300 ZX
TwinTurbo and seats five...

Volvo has an extensive export sales program where you can buy your U.S.
speced car in Sweden and have it shipped to the US. You pick it up at port
of entry (you select), pay the tax and title and you're on the road. Have 4
colleagues who have done this in the last 2 years. You save up to $ 3-8000
depending on model and your local dealer. Volvo Tourist and Diplomat Sales
can be reached at +46 8 734 7000. They will quote you prices in US $ etc.
If you want any feedback from people who have done this, let me know. I
will be out the next two weeks, so my e-mail will be quiet.

I guess this is a compliment. As being a real "viking" from "the cold and
bitter north" I do agree. Most Swedes are pretty fluent in foreign
laguages. Remember, Sweden is far up north and only the size of
California...

Good luck all,
