I had a similar problem with my 200q a few months back. The damn beeping and
flashing LCD drove me insane. Anyway, I finally took it in to my mechanic.
AFter a day of playing with the car, he said to me that I may have some
"bad-oil" and I should change it. I did, and the problem hasn't resurfaced
since.
Before you circumvent the circuit relay, give her an oil change. It's
cheap.. and may be the source of your problem. .......BTW, how
does one go about "checking the oil pressure" anyway? Just from the gauge on
the dash?
