Coupe q - Thanks for the info &more on parts

Hi all,

Thanks for the info on the spring/ shock combos last week. I'm sorry I didn't reply until now - hard drive crash. (Called manufacturer - "Yeah, we've seen that happen lately, we mounted the hard drive on top of the power supply, so if you leave the computer on, the hard drive slowly cooks." - Great.)

I'm still debating on the spring/ shock issue, I'll make my decision by next week. 


BTW, I found a very nice vendor in Autoweek. I don't have the name  and number in front of me, but I can look it up if anyone's interested. They carry a lot of misc. general aftermarket parts, spring/shock/exhaust/plugs/etc. Plus they offered to match any price I was able to find. 

But, the thing that sold me was their willingness to  look for parts for the Coupes. I have been looking for a particular aftermarket replacement grill from Kamei. I saw it in D&W, but haven't been able to find one on this side of the pond. This place knew the grill which I was speaking about and said they had it available through a Canadian distributor. Joy. I hope they come through, whan I get done my coupe will have an agressive new face, with the PIAA 1000s mounter on either side of the Audi symbol on the grill and all.
