More on Tires - D60A2 vs. AVS S4V
Hi all,
I was just about sold on the Dunlop D60A2s, until a friend of mine replaced the stock tires on his '94 Integra GSR with them. He found them to be like driving on tiptoes, with actual response being delayed a bit until the tires bite. The tires are much quieter than his OEM Michelins, so he's keeping them, but I don't think they are for me.
I called tire rack and they turned me on the to Yoko AVS S4Vs. Does anyone have any info on these? I've called locally and no one has sold any yet. Tire Rack gave me this pitch: I'd sacrifice little or no grip from my current 509s, I'd get all season rating and performance with the tire, and I'd get longer tread life. This sounds too good to be true, did Yoko invent the perfect tire? ;)
Any info is appreciated.
Thanks,
