5KS Valve Cover

The valve cover gasket on my '86 5KS seems to have sprung a leak, and thinks 
that spraying oil on hot engine components offers me a new orafactory 
delight....

I have a new gasket, I know the valve cover to cylinder head torque spec is 
10ftlbs and I have done a similar job on my Porsche 944.

Just checking with "the collective wisdom" to see if there are any tricks that 
help, or pitfalls to avoid.  I will be attacking this job Sunday morning, and 
will check in just before I get dirty.
