Just did mine (+ lifters) yesterday.....
clean the cover, use the rubber seal not the cork, clean the surface of the
head, clean the nuts, the studs and torque to spec....  I've found that a
little silicone on the stud threads right b4 install maintains the torque
till you do them agin....
