i just walked in, told them what i wanted, they looked it up on the computer
and came out with this metal thing. i said "nope, that's not it! but that's
what it SHOULD look like!" so i paid them $20 and started burning knuckles.
it was in an extremely generic looking box with the "factory air" trademark
on it. the part number is 74671, which is probably a pepboys part number.
i still have the box with the POS plastic original, made by valeo and
split at the seam. btw, dave, it was YOU (who sez he carries a spare) who
made me think mine was probly going to go. but i promise i didn't swear at
you when it did happen.
