Unhappy with M3?

Really? I have three friends with M3's (one '95, two '96) and all are
very happy with them. I have driven both the 95 and the 96 (96 has been
refined by M Boys over the 95 to some degree), and they are both
outstanding rides. Like PDQSHIP said, I think the A4Q would have a very
hard time keeping up with the M3, EVEN IN THE WET.

I know this is a Q-List, I own a Q, but there are other cars for
purchase that are very good (GULP!), IF NOT BETTER, at
handling/performance for sale. I think having had the opportunity to
drive both cars in the SAME WET circumstances, I can say that the (96 at
least) M3 will win in all but the WORST SNOW/SLUSH/CRAP.

The fact of the matter is the M is built by factory guys with superior
synergy between performance and luxury. The whole car works right off
the line w/o aftermarket mods. This, IMHO, is worth much. Anyway, the
A4Q is a great car, but having to give T.A.P. a month and 10K to get it
to where the M3 is (280 bhp) just doesn't cut it when I can get a
factory screamer that hauls ass, stops on a dime, and eats the curves in
between.

Just my opinion. Let the thread die.
