OK, OK...I've been watching this discussion. WHO is LINDA? WHO is CARLSEN?
Do they REALLY sell parts at a good price? Are they factory or aftermkt? Are
there parts to go to them for and parts to stay away? What about PAP
 in Atlanta?

Here's my experience with PAP. In about 1988 I decided that in order to be
competitive with my 911 I needed to get a dedicated set of wheels and race
tires. I ended up ordering from PAP 4 fuchs alloys 2 ea. 7x16 and 2 ea.
8x16. Price was $1000 and I was told that they were in "EXCELLENT"
condition. They arrived several days later, all packed in one big box - no
internal packing material whatsoever. This beat-to-sh*t box arrived, metal
clanging. I opened it immediately and found wheels that were dinged and
banged to hell. I called PAP, explained the situation and offered to keep
the wheels if they would pay for the refinishing ($85ea). They said just
return them and I did so immediately. Several weeks went by and I had not
received a credit on my charge card. I called their "accounting" department
several times - no one was ever in and no one ever returned my calls. My
credit card bill came - no credit showing but the $1000 charge from PAP was
listed. I wasn't going to pay Mastercard for PAP's improper billing so I
wrote a letter to Mastercard and protested PAP's charge. - Don't hear
anything more about it. Five years later I called PAP and order a part from
them. They looked me up in their computer and said - you're a bad customer
you protested a credit card charge - you're c.o.d. At this time I was
talking with a counter person. I explained to him my prior situation and he
said too bad you're c.o.d. I requested to talk to Joe Cogbill, the owner. I
was put on hold and approximately one minute later the counter person came
back and announced that Joe will not talk to you. By the way I was totally
calm and not at all belligerent (then) so I can't understand his response.
Needless to say, since I had little faith in what they were selling I was
damned if I'm going to pay them before inspecting the merchandise. Rather I
purchased my parts from someone else and I have decided to repeat this story
as often as I can to whomever asks about PAP.

Maybe it has changed but I'll never do business with PAP.
