Correct. "All season" means that you have a bad tire all year round.
Sorry, much as I hate contributing to noisy flame fests (tell me, if
I going sideways but my tires are "spinning" at the correct rate for
my forward velocity, is it still "wheelspin"?), a "good" "high per-
formance" "all season" tire is a damn good tire to have. Yes, it is
only 9.5 tenths of the ideal true dedicated high-performance tire for
the conditions du jour, but it's at least 13 tenths of having yes-
terday's du-jour-tire on today's different conditions.
The concept of "one" all-round (umph, so to speak) damn-good-tire
is clearly viable.
This is not to say that s****y "all season" tires aren't available,
they are, by the boatload.
