Pentosin flush/filter?

       Hey y'all,

           I was wondering just how neccesary this Pentosin flush is?  I have
had my car for 2 years and have never done this (except for when I had a leak
through the rack), and I'm sure the owner before me didn't.  Would this add to
the longevity of the p/s pump?  I also heard that there is a hydraulic filter
for the Pentosin to go through.  Is this true, and where is it?  I'm sure mine
should be changes along with a good flush.  I've got the big can of Pentosin at
home and a little (Autobahn) container in the trunk.  Any info or hints on how
to do this would be appreciated.  Thanks.
