I had this done on my '85 5000s the other way 'round. I've replaced the 4 light
sys with the trapezoidal Bosch units. It is indeed a direct swap.
I still have the original 4 light sys intact, stashed in the box. I would sell it
for a modest amount of money. E-mail me direct if interested.
