In late 95 when I got the 1995.5 UBERWGN they were selling 1995.5 S6
sedans too, but they seem to be producing more wagons than sedans at
that time.  Sport wagons are the hot item in Europe these days, so
their production line may have been heavily weighted in that
direction.
