RE: Fiberglass Rear Trunk lid

I too have seen the fiberglass trunks for the coupes. On some of the old
Audi micro fische they were listed with part numbers. I once tried to
order one, but AOA thought I was crazy!  Found out later on, from a 
Canadian friend that, there were a few in Canada.  None in the US due to 
the crash laws.  I gave up after that. Would be quite the weight saver!
Just dont get rear ended!

Hmmmmm....... My US-spec 85 ur-q has the (original) glass/kevlar decklid.....
