That control arm is travelling diagonally upward/outward, so
width is going to be important as well as diameter.  Change
the 205's to 235's of the same diameter, and you're adding
1.5cm to the position of the inside edge.  I'd guess that
between the extra width and diameter that a 235/45-17" brings,
you'll be adding a uburuS-type hill-holding feature.
