FWIW, I can only comment on Ned.  I spoke with him at the last PNWAQC
meeting a couple of weeks ago.  He is in the process of setting up to do
some thing on the internet.

He is planning to put up a WWW page, but it won't be commercial (at
least for awhile.)  His goal is to have a page where Audi enthusiasts
can come for information and help in troubleshooting their Audis.

I expect to see him again at the PNW track day at PIR in late October. 
I'll talk with him again then.
