RE: Sputtered and died

So the 875KCSTQ ran fine this morning. I'm leaving work and, go several
hundred yards, and it sputters and dies. Restarts, though a little hard, and
does the same thing. Two more tries and I'm into a car parts store parking
lot. Now it will start, idle a while and then die.

My guess is Fuel Filter. In fact I had the parts store order me one. It will
be here in a couple hours so I thought I should log on and check my diagnosis
with the experts while I wait.

Is this going to get me going again or is it time to call a tow?

Hmmm, could be. Could also be yer fuel pump relay. There's an aux contact in
there that isn't shown in the Bentley - if it doesn't close you lose power
to 1/2 yer ECU components including the freq valve. Easy to listen for - is
the bee buzzin by the fuel distributer???

I'm confused. Is buzzing good or bad? I changed the FP relay (#10 on the main
relay panel) and I'm still buzzing.

BTW, Seem to be running OK now.

Your thoughts are welcom.
